Stanislav especially enjoys working with children and inexperienced fishermen. Students learn how to treat the fish they catch with respect, induce minimal harm while handling, and return them to the water unscathed. The nature of these expeditions is purely educational, so ethical conduct is paramount. Stanislav’s instruction is adaptive, and he takes pride in his ability to impart knowledge in a calm and focused manner and in a digestible format.

The school was inspired by Charles Jardine and his “Fishing for Schools” project. Stanislav aims to give the young generation a chance to do something interesting and thrilling apart from swiping on their phones and playing computer games. There is a real world out there, and it is magnificent! It is much better than anything ever seen on a screen.
Despite recent difficulties, the school has organized 5-day fly fishing schools and other outdoor activities. Students from 11th grade have had their chance to learn to cast a fly rod to catch rainbow trout in lakes and wild brown trout in rivers. Activities also included daily rafting, climbing, and foraging. It was an intensive week, and everyone learned something new and sensational.
The school has organized and participated in several more fly fishing projects for kids, bringing positivity and joy to all involved. Stanislav will certainly continue to organize and participate in future fly fishing school projects. Follow this webpage for Mankov Fly Fishing School dates and details in future years.
