Embark on one of the newest and most diverse saltwater fly fishing experiences. If you’re passionate about landing big, powerful fish, our Norwegian salt and freshwater adventures are tailored just for you.
Northern Norway is a treasure trove for anglers, boasting a remarkable diversity of fish species. You can target halibut and sea trout from the sea, whether from a boat or the shoreline, alongside cod, pollock, and other bycatch species. Meanwhile, the region’s numerous rivers offer opportunities to catch trout, arctic char, sea trout, and the mighty Atlantic salmon.
Our guided fishing trips are among the most exclusive in the area. During a limited six-week period in June and July, we provide outstanding coastal sea trout fishing, accessible to only a select group of anglers each season. The best months for targeting halibut on the fly are August and September. Salmon fishing can be excellent depending on water levels and weather conditions. The breathtaking fjords of Northern Norway are home to one of the largest populations of big sea trout in Europe, offering an unmatched fishing adventure.

We utilize our dedicated sport fishing boats equipped with casting decks to provide our customers with the ideal vantage point for spotting and targeting these silver torpedoes. Our fishing experience is a blend of trout fishing in serene lakes and flats fishing in the fjords. This means that one day, you might be sight fishing in shallow waters; the next, you could drift fishing in a lively current.
The shore fishing for sea trout and sea-run char is excellent. We combine car and boat transport to reach areas with minimal fishing pressure. There’s something incredibly thrilling about hooking a large, strong sea trout on a lightweight single-handed rod and hearing the reel scream as it races toward the open fjord. We often organize these shore trips alongside boat excursions, allowing groups of four to experience what the area offers. Of course, some anglers prefer not to fish from boats, and we can arrange an entire week of shore fishing for those who desire it.
The fish here are particularly powerful, thanks to their voracious appetites and abundant food that keeps them in top condition and brimming with energy. The average catch weighs between three to six pounds, but throughout the week, it’s not uncommon to encounter one or more double-digit fish, along with plenty of others.
During this time of year (June-July), the midnight sun shines brightly, creating a spectacular backdrop that enhances the fishing experience. More often than not, this is the best time to be out on the water. We take regular breaks during our sessions and typically head to shore for a longer respite during the fishing day.
Once on shore, we gather around a fire to cook some delicious food, which usually includes a selection of meats or fresh fish straight from the fjord.
